Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Valid LBS1 Teacher Certification
• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
• 1-5 years of teaching experience, ideally within a special education environment
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for working with students with learning differences across K-8
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs

Responsibilities Include:

• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to support students unique goals
• Collaborating closely with general education teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student success
• Tracking and reporting progress toward IEP objectives, maintaining accurate documentation
• Creating positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom climates
• Modifying curriculum as needed and utilizing assistive technologies or resources
• Participating in professional development, team meetings, and school events
