Job Description
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Burbank, IL. This in-person role involves working with students in grades 2 through 5, providing tailored educational support and instruction to meet individual learning needs within a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to student performance and compliance with regulations.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters social and academic growth.
Qualifications:
- Valid LBS1 license required.
- Experience working with special education students, preferably in grades 2-5.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning experience.
Location:
