This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher at an elementary school in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The role involves providing core replacement instruction for Special Education students in compliance with South Carolina state standards. This is a contract position starting on December 20th and continuing through the end of the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of students with disabilities in an elementary school setting.
• Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and adapt lessons to ensure accessibility and engagement.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid South Carolina Special Education Teacher certification.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings.
• Strong understanding of core curriculum replacement and state standards.
• Ability to design and implement differentiated instruction.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Duration:
