Inspire young learners and make a meaningful impact in early childhood education as a Special Education (SPED) Pre-K Teacher for the full school year in Miami, FL. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering engaging academic and social instruction aligned with each student's Individualized Educational Plan (IEP)
- Assessing and adapting teaching strategies to meet the individual learning styles, temperaments, and backgrounds of your students
- Fostering a positive, inclusive classroom dynamic that prioritizes growth, communication, and a supportive learning atmosphere
- Taking initiative to assist and act as a backup for the Director when needed
- Utilizing technology and educational platforms, including Microsoft Office and online resources, to enhance teaching and communication
Your background includes:
- A Bachelors degree in education, early childhood, special education, or a closely related field
- Eligibility for, or possession of, the Florida Professional Educators Certificate in Primary/Elementary Education and Exceptional Student Education (ESE)
- Completion of the Department of Children & Family Child Care Training
- Reading Endorsement and ESOL credentials (or the willingness to enroll to complete them)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is a plus
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and online research tools
