Job Description

Your role will start in August 2026 and run through the school year, ending June 2027. Using your expertise and passion, you will play a critical part in shaping opportunities for growth and empowerment for every student in your classroom.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must hold the Wisconsin Cross-Categorical Special Education certification (License #2801)
  • Demonstrated experience working with students with autism
  • Background in supporting students with varying needs across learning, behavior, and cognition
  • Strong commitment to inclusive educational practices and individualized support plans
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction in a cross-categorical classroom for middle and high school students
  • Adapt curriculum to accommodate a variety of learning styles and needs
  • Collaborate with general educators, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
  • Maintain clear documentation, IEPs, and progress reports for all students
  • Foster a positive, supportive environment that respects the unique backgrounds and experiences of each learner
