This contract opportunity places you onsite in a vibrant learning community near Omaha, NE, where your expertise will help children with diverse learning needs reach their full potential. Two dedicated professionals are neededone for elementary and one for middle school resource settingseach playing a crucial role during the 20262027 academic year.

What you bring to this opportunity:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification for the state of Nebraska (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience working in resource or inclusion classrooms, particularly in elementary or middle grades
  • Strong classroom management and differentiated instructional strategies
  • Passion for fostering a welcoming, supportive environment for students with varying needs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and support professionals
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a student-centered mindset

Your key responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet students unique needs
  • Provide direct instruction and support, both individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and therapists to support student success
  • Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
  • Communicate regularly with families to share progress and address concerns
  • Foster an inclusive, respectful classroom community

This is an onsite-only, full-time contract beginning August 13, 2026, and ending May 27, 2027, providing the chance to build lasting connections with students and colleagues in a supportive environment.
