Step into a remote opportunity supporting students as an elementary-level Special Education Case Manager for the upcoming academic year. This contract role offers you the chance to make a direct impact by managing a manageable caseload and collaborating closely with academic teams to empower student success.
Your background should demonstrate hands-on experience in special education teaching and case management, with strong skills in maintaining and implementing effective, compliant IEPs. Flexibility is valuedthe ideal candidate holds a K12 Special Education certification, although your unique strengths (elementary, middle, or high school) will guide your assigned focus.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification (preferably K12)
- Proven experience as a Special Education teacher and/or case manager
- Solid understanding of IEP processescreation, maintenance, and compliance
- Proficient in conducting IEP meetings and progress monitoring techniques
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
- Tech-savvy and confident working in a virtual environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Write, review, and maintain IEPs for an elementary caseload (up to 70 students)
- Conduct and lead IEP meetings virtually with stakeholders
- Monitor student progress and adjust supports as needed
- Foster collaboration with school-based teams to ensure fidelity of IEP implementation
- Advise and support compliance with state and district regulations
