Your expertise will nurture childrens communication, social-emotional, behavioral, and academic skills through customized instruction and support. As a valued team member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping positive educational experiences for children receiving special education services.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active Colorado Special Education License with Early Childhood endorsement (or eligibility through reciprocity)
- Experience working with preschool-aged children is a plus
- Solid understanding of child development and early intervention strategies
- Proficient communication skills, with a talent for working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary colleagues
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to developmental needs of preschool students
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, partnering closely with families and specialists
- Conduct regular progress monitoring, maintaining accurate and compliant documentation
- Participate in evaluations, eligibility decision meetings, and IEP team discussions
- Encourage students growth across communication, social-emotional, and adaptive skills
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture
