This is a full-time, onsite, W-2 contract position working with elementary students in both pull-out and inclusion settings. Youll be exposed to a range of educational practices, collaborate with experienced professionals from various backgrounds, and refine your instructional skills while making a significant impact in students lives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education
- Active New Mexico Special Education Teacher certification
- U.S. work authorization
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals
- Create and maintain a supportive and structured classroom environment
- Implement evidence-based instructional and behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with general education staff, service providers, administrators, and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress reports
