Desired Qualifications:

• Hold an active GA SRT4 or higher teaching license
• Possess valid GaPSC certification
• Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged students (K-5)
• Strong understanding of a range of learning styles and differentiation strategies
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with parents, staff, and administrators
• Passion for advocating on behalf of students with special needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Provide direct, engaging instruction to students on assigned caseload
• Collaborate with general education teachers to promote inclusive learning environments
• Track and report on student progress toward IEP goals
• Engage in regular communication with families, support staff, and related service providers
• Maintain a positive, supportive classroom culture that values every learner
