Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Valid teaching certification for Special Education.
• Demonstrated experience with grade levels ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade, including elementary, middle, and high school settings.
• Ability to design and implement effective math instruction suited to diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and differentiation techniques.
• Creative problem-solving skills paired with a positive, growth-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in inclusive or resource settings, adapting lessons for a range of student abilities in math and other subjects as needed.
• Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success.
• Create a nurturing, structured classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence.
• Utilize data to monitor progress, adjust instructional strategies, and report outcomes.
• Promote social-emotional growth and academic achievement for all students.
