In this dynamic contract role, you'll have the opportunity to support students' growth and foster an inclusive learning environment. Your skills will be put to work across different settings, including Kindergarten, Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school classes, with an emphasis on adapting math curriculum and differentiated instruction to meet the unique needs of every learner.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior experience working with students in grades Pre-K through 12 is highly desirable
• Demonstrated skill in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong background in teaching math and adapting content for diverse learners
• Ability to establish rapport with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and flexibility in classroom settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to each students individual learning goals and IEP requirements
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to co-teach and modify curriculum in inclusive settings
• Employ a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate various learning styles, particularly in math
• Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and maintain accurate records of student achievement
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and staff to ensure student success
• Assist in developing positive behavior support plans as needed
