Make a lasting impact in the lives of middle school students by stepping into a Special Education Teacher role for the upcoming school year. This full-time, onsite opportunity offers the chance to work alongside a collaborative team in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

In this role, youll provide instruction through both co-teaching and independent classroom settings, supporting a diverse caseload of students with varying learning needs. Were seeking dedicated educators with an LBS1 certification who are passionate about helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teaching certification with LBS1 endorsement required
• Experience in co-teaching environments preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to student-centered learning and engagement
• Ability to design and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction in both co-taught and self-contained classroom settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and lesson plans
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture with differentiated instruction
• Develop and manage IEPs, progress monitoring, and required documentation
• Implement effective classroom management strategies
• Partner with families, school staff, and support teams to promote student success

Additional Details:
Compensation is based on experience. Eligible candidates may receive healthcare benefits and travel stipends for housing, meals, and incidentals. This position will remain open for 60 days from the posting date.
