A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to work full-time with both elementary and high school learners in a cross-categorical setting. Key Qualifications:

• Hold valid Wisconsin Special Education (WI SPED) licensure
• Experience supporting students with a range of disabilities, preferably at the elementary and/or high school levels

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and fellow educators
• Commitment to building an inclusive and positive classroom environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support for elementary and high school students in cross-categorical classrooms
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), tracking student progress and tailoring approaches as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families to promote student success
• Utilize data-driven strategies to design engaging lessons and assess learning outcomes
• Foster independence, self-advocacy, and a supportive learning atmosphere for all students

This assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through June 3, offering the unique experience of working with a dynamic, cross-categorical caseload. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring students receive the personalized education they deserve.
