Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required; ability to obtain MSDE certification with special education endorsement (required), vision endorsement (preferred)
- Deep understanding of special education principles, IEP development, and effective teaching techniques
- Experience supporting students with autism and complex behavioral needs preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to visually impaired students (K-12) with multiple disabilities
- Develop and write IEPs, setting meaningful goals and monitoring progress
- Apply evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis strategies for both skill acquisition and behavior management
