Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid 165 Comprehensive Special Education Certification required
• Experience working with middle and/or high school students preferred
• Ability to adapt lessons and strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students strengths and needs
• Develop adaptive curriculum materials and instructional techniques for special education students
• Provide direct instruction in core academic and life skills areas
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support personnel
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Communicate regularly with families regarding educational goals, progress, and support strategies
