Step into a key role supporting students as an in-person Special Education Case Coordinator for the 2026-27 school year. Located in a welcoming community near Northfield, VT, this full-time contract opportunity needs three dynamic professionals to coordinate services across high school, middle, and elementary school settings. Your expertise will shape individualized learning experiences and foster meaningful progress for students with diverse learning needs.

Successful candidates will need:

  • Valid Special Education credentials meeting state requirements
  • Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher or Coordinator, ideally within a school setting
  • A strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
  • Skills in collaboration and communication with faculty, families, and support staff
  • Commitment to in-person work throughout the entire school year

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing a caseload as described: one position at the high school level utilizing a dyad model, one for middle school, and one for elementary
  • Serving as the primary liaison for students special education programming
  • Collaborating closely with on-site educators to ensure effective delivery of services
  • Managing documentation, timelines, meetings, and state reporting requirements
  • Providing guidance and leadership to instructional teams

This position supports 37.5 hours per week, from late August 2026 through mid-June 2027, offering stability and consistent engagement with your assigned school community.
