Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification meeting all state requirements
• Demonstrated experience teaching students with diverse learning needs
• Strong understanding of current best practices in special education
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to delivering services in-person, fostering genuine relationships with students and staff
• Ability to adapt to caseload variations and work flexibly as needs are determined

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in small groups or one-on-one settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with state and district policies
• Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and ongoing professional development
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment that promotes growth and achievement

This is a contract assignment requiring 37.5 hours weekly, working fully in person. Caseload assignments will be discussed during the interview process, ensuring the best match for both candidate and program needs.
