In this position, youll have the opportunity to work with a diverse high school caseload in both resource and inclusion settings, providing essential support to students with unique learning needs. Desired Background:
- Valid Connecticut special education teacher certification
- Experience supporting high school students in resource and/or inclusion environments
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate, adaptable, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction based on IEP goals and curriculum standards
- Adapt lesson plans and classroom activities to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and ongoing team collaboration
- Create an inclusive, supportive atmosphere where all students can thrive academically and socially
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, staff, and families to ensure successful inclusion and resource support
- Manage and oversee case files, progress notes, and student data in compliance with all regulations

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.50 to $55.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
