Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching license/certification
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
• Demonstrated ability to modify curriculum and adapt classroom activities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Organizational skills to maintain documentation and track student progress
• Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide differentiated instruction aligned with students IEP goals
• Assess academic and social development, tailoring strategies for optimal learning outcomes
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Foster a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and strategies for continued growth
• Utilize progress monitoring tools to adapt instruction as needed
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
