Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher, ideally in resource or self-contained settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and monitoring
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to foster a positive, supportive classroom environment
• Commitment to collaborating with general education staff, parents, and support personnel

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and interventions to students in resource or self-contained classrooms
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state guidelines
• Collaborate with other faculty and staff to support each students academic and social-emotional growth
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student achievements and challenges
• Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
