Key Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher certification, N-12 or 7-12 required
• Additional certifications in High School Algebra and/or Science highly preferred
• Previous experience teaching or supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Skilled in collaborative classroom environments, particularly in co-teaching models
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small group instruction in a Learning Support classroom
• Collaborate with general education teachers through co-teaching assignments during periods throughout the school day
• Design and adapt lesson plans to accommodate a wide range of learning styles and needs for students in the assigned caseload
• Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records in alignment with IEP goals
• Support school initiatives aimed at inclusion and academic achievement for all learners
• Foster a positive, motivating classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement
