Step into a meaningful role supporting young learners as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher. This contract opportunity runs from August 13, 2026, through June 3, 2027, and offers full-time hours Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM. Youll work with a dedicated pre-K caseload of 13 students with mild to moderate needs, shaping foundational skills and positive school experiences in a supportive environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Special Education teaching credentials, with a focus on Early Childhood
- Fingerprint clearance prior to entering the pre-K classroom
- Experience with early intervention strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom atmosphere
Your Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized education plans for each student
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction tailored to varying learning styles and needs
- Collaborate closely with related service providers and support staff
- Communicate consistently with families, sharing progress and strategies for at-home support
- Use assessment data to adjust instruction and maximize student growth
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
