The assignment begins ASAP and concludes in mid-December of 2026, providing a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed as a Special Education Teacher in Indiana (active license required; please provide proof upon application)
  • Prior experience or strong interest in working with students identified with mild disabilities
  • Ability to foster a positive, supportive classroom environment tailored to individual needs
  • Effective classroom management and communication skills
  • Collaboration-minded: willing to partner closely with school staff and families
  • Enthusiasm for working onsite with a dedicated school community

Your Role:

  • Lead a self-contained classroom setting, focusing instruction and care for students with mild disabilities
  • Adapt lessons and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and district expectations
  • Communicate regularly with parents, support staff, and administration regarding student achievement and needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver a holistic educational experience
  • Create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
