Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid South Carolina Special Education Teaching Certification required
• Demonstrated skills in developing and implementing IEPs tailored to each student's strengths and needs
• Flexibility to work with students in K-12 settings across various service delivery models (resource, self-contained, inclusion, 1:1)
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective collaboration with students, families, and colleagues
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and adapt instructional materials for students with diverse abilities in K-12
• Provide direct instruction and interventions according to students IEPs
• Maintain accurate progress data and document student achievement
• Work closely with general educators, administrators, and related service personnel
• Engage families in the educational process and participate in IEP meetings
• Support students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals across a variety of classroom environments
