Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon Special Education Teaching License (OR SPED License)
- Previous experience managing diverse caseloads
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies for K-12 students
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction to students with special needs (K-12), assigned to one classroom only
- Develop and implement IEPs for a caseload ranging from under 20 to approximately 35 students, depending on site
- Collaborate effectively with general education staff and instructional assistants
- Maintain accurate student records and monitor progress
- Facilitate inclusive practices within the school
- Adapt to different educational settings and support needs
