Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students by providing specialized instruction across elementary, middle, and high school settings. This position offers the unique opportunity to work with diverse grade levels, making a lasting difference in the lives of students from kindergarten through grade 12 for the remainder of the current school year, with potential to continue into the 2026/2027 school year.
Key Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Current New Hampshire Special Education Teacher license.
- Experience or familiarity with students in grades K5, 68, and/or 912.
- Ability to adapt instruction for a wide range of developmental and academic needs.
- Strong collaboration skills with general education teachers, families, and support staff.
- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management abilities.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Deliver specialized instruction and interventions for students with varying disabilities and learning differences.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with families.
- Participate in student evaluations, case conferences, and IEP meetings.
- Create a positive, structured classroom climate where all students feel valued.
