Job Description

Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Special Education Teachers ready to make an impact in a supportive school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. Full-time contract positions are open, with a need for two to three educators who bring solid school-based experience and an enthusiasm for case management. Roles are set for August 2026 through June 2027, with assignments primarily at the high school level and the possibility of openings at the elementary or preschool level.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification
  • Documented experience working within school settings
  • Previous case management experience is a strong plus
  • Ability to adapt instructional strategies for diverse learners
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, parents, and support staff
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive classroom environments

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct instruction to students with varying needs
  • Coordinate and track case management duties, including progress monitoring and documentation
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development
  • Adjust instructional materials and strategies to ensure student growth and engagement
  • Possibly work with high school, elementary, or preschool-aged students based on final staffing needs
