Full-time positions are available for passionate educators who have a confirmed, active Virginia Special Education Certification and are ready to work onsite. Multiple roles offer the chance to support elementary and middle school students in both self-contained and inclusive classroom settings.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Certification in Virginia (required)
• Previous experience in school-based special education classrooms preferred
• Ability and enthusiasm for working onsite; virtual or remote work unavailable for these roles
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Willingness to complete district onboarding procedures, including fingerprinting prior to start

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to support student inclusion
• Foster a supportive and structured classroom environment
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
• Communicate regularly with families and educational teams

Role Details:

• Four open positions: 1 self-contained K-2 classroom, 2 inclusion roles at the elementary level, and 1 inclusion role at the middle school
• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Contract runs from August through June in alignment with the school year
• District provides structured onboarding; no additional training or supervision is outlined
