The assignment runs full-time from ASAP through the end of the school year. Your commitment will be focused within one middle school, supporting students with behavioral needs in a mix of push in/pull out settings, ensuring you can build meaningful relationships with both students and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut Special Education (CT SPED) license required
  • Experience with middle school-aged students preferred
  • Strong background supporting behavioral needs
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and an enthusiastic approach to new environments

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and support within the AIM program
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and staff in both push in and pull out models
  • Address behavioral challenges using effective interventions
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and report on student progress
  • Support IEP goals and participate in case conferences as needed
