A contract position is available for Special Education Teachers to support an extended school year (ESY) program near New London, NH for the summer session. This engaging opportunity runs Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 12 pm, from July 6 to July 31, and seeks three dedicated professionals ready to inspire students in a supportive environment.
What Youll Bring:
- Current certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Proven experience working in a school setting
- Ability to adapt and differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom climate
What Youll Do:
- Provide specially designed instruction and interventions aligned with students Individual Education Plans (IEP)
- Collaborate with related service providers and paraprofessionals to support student progress
- Monitor student achievement and document progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Engage families and caregivers through regular updates and communication regarding student growth
- Participate in team meetings, report findings, and contribute ideas for ESY program improvements
