Embark on an inspiring contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year as a Special Education Teacher with a focus on both instructional duties and case management. This engaging position is set near New London, NH, and offers full-time roles between 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week. There are openings for two, possibly three, experienced educators with an emphasis on high school settings, while a possible elementary or preschool teaching slot may also become available.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and current special education teaching certification
• Documented experience working in educational settings
• Familiarity with case management, IEP processes, and compliance standards
• Excellent communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities
• Adaptability and a collaborative approach to working across diverse age groups

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction tailored to students with special needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in coordination with staff and families
• Manage caseloads and oversee all documentation and progress reporting
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment conducive to both academic and personal growth
• Engage in regular collaboration with faculty, support personnel, and parents
• Attend meetings, provide insights during reviews, and adapt strategies as student needs evolve
