This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to lead Instructional Math and English Language Arts classes at both the middle and high school levels during the 2026-2027 school year.
Successful candidates will hold a valid Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with LBS1 endorsement and demonstrate a passion for empowering students success. Your expertise will help drive positive educational outcomes for learners who benefit from skilled, compassionate instruction.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 Special Education endorsement
- Experience teaching special education at middle and/or high school levels
- Ability to design and deliver instructional math and ELA lessons tailored to diverse learning needs
- Strong classroom management skills and adaptability
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, individualized instruction in Math and ELA to special education students
- Manage caseloads at the middle school level from November 20, 2026, to March 10, 2027, and high school from February 4, 2027, to May 7, 2027
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to ensure each students needs are met
- Develop and implement IEPs, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster a positive classroom culture focused on growth and achievement

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.00 to $45.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
