Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Teaching License
- Special Education (SPED) Endorsement
- Previous experience supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Ability to provide compassionate behavioral and academic support
- Preparedness to assist with personal care and toileting if needed
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted instruction and interventions to students in grades 68 or 912 with mild/moderate needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students goals
- Maintain and monitor a caseload of approximately 2530 students, ensuring accommodations and supports are effectively delivered
- Foster a supportive, positive classroom environment encouraging student engagement and growth
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and related service providers
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
