Job Description

We are seeking passionate Special Education professionals to provide exceptional support in Pathways (multiple disabilities), KEY (Autism), and inclusive classroom programs. This is a full-time, contract position available immediately and extending through June 11, 2027, offering 35 hours per week.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate expertise in creating adaptive learning experiences and collaborating within school teams to promote student success. Multiple openings are available for experienced educators ready to impact students lives.

Qualifications:

  • Active Connecticut Special Education Teacher licensure and certification required
  • Strong experience working in school-based settings with students with multiple disabilities and/or Autism spectrum disorders
  • Solid understanding of K-12 special education programs, compliance, and instructional strategies
  • Familiarity with inclusion models and ability to collaborate with general education staff
  • References must be available for credentialing and onboarding
  • Ability to interview via Zoom

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized instruction in Pathways (multiple disabilities), KEY (Autism), and inclusive classroom settings
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
  • Assess student progress, maintain thorough records, and communicate effectively with families and team members
  • Adapt curriculum and classroom strategies to support diverse learning styles
  • Contribute to an inclusive, supportive environment that fosters student growth and independence
