Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (EC-12 or equivalent)
• Bachelors degree or higher in education, special education, or a related field
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt lessons for a range of learning needs
• Familiarity with state and federal special education guidelines
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching

Responsibilities:

• Design, deliver, and differentiate instruction for students with a variety of abilities and IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student progress
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, behavior, and goals
• Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to each learners strengths and challenges
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and contribute to assessment and compliance requirements
• Foster a safe, positive, and supportive classroom atmosphere
• Utilize technology and evidence-based strategies to enhance student learning
