Key Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Special Education License is required
• Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
• Knowledge of IEP development, classroom management, and differentiated instruction
• Ability to adapt to multiple classroom settings, including resource, co-teaching, and self-contained
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to student advocacy

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with a range of learning needs in accordance with IEP goals
• Modify curriculum and utilize accommodations to support individual learning styles
• Monitor student progress and document outcomes clearly and accurately
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and support staff to implement effective teaching strategies
• Engage with families and guardians to provide updates and encourage involvement
• Maintain an organized, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
