Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher specializing in autism. Located within driving distance of Nederland, CO, this opportunity lets you teach in a positive, collaborative school environment near Idaho Springs, CO, for the full 2026/2027 school year. Youll work Monday through Thursday, enjoying a consistent four-day school week beginning August 7th, 2026.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement (or eligibility for certification)
  • Experience as a Special Education Teacher or in similar roles supporting students with autism
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning styles and needs

Responsibilities and Duties:
