Your background in special education and versatility with multiple age groupsspanning Pre-K and Kindergarten through 12th gradewill be key to helping students achieve their academic and developmental goals. In particular, your strength in teaching math will enable you to guide students in mastering foundational and advanced concepts within individualized education programs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid teaching credential in Special Education
- Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Skills in differentiating instruction and implementing IEPs
- Strong classroom management and collaborative abilities
- Enthusiasm for engaging a diverse student population, including those with varying academic needs
- Specialized knowledge of math curriculum and adaptive strategies
Responsibilities:
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to address individualized learning needs
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom climate
- Provide direct instruction and intervention in both resource and self-contained settings
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate regularly with parents and staff to enhance student success
