Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility in California)
  • Experience supporting students in any of the following: Pre-K, Kindergarten, Elementary (Grades K-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8), or High School (Grades 9-12)
  • Familiarity with differentiated instruction, particularly in Math, across multiple grade bands
  • Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to providing engaging, accessible instruction for diverse learners

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver instruction to meet the unique needs of students in a variety of grade levels
  • Develop and maintain effective IEPs in coordination with families and school staff
  • Foster an inclusive classroom that encourages academic, social, and emotional growth
  • Employ data-driven approaches to assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed
  • Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and administrators in a collaborative team environment
  • Participate in school-wide meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as required
