You'll play a key role in supporting individual educational needs for students from kindergarten through 12th grade, working closely with other educators, staff, and families to promote student growth and achievement.
Qualifications:
- Current Special Education Teacher license from the state of New Hampshire
- Experience teaching within grades K5, 68, or 912 is highly desirable
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and families
- Flexibility to adapt instructional approaches for diverse learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized education plans based on assessments and student goals
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to support student learning
- Monitor progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary to ensure student success
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support professionals to deliver inclusive programs
- Maintain accurate student records, documentation, and reports
- Foster a safe, supportive classroom environment that encourages growth and independence
