Make a real difference in the lives of elementary students as a contract Special Education Teacher in a welcoming school community near Nashua, NH. This full-time opportunity runs from August through November 2026 and offers the chance to support young learners in Kindergarten through 4th grade. Youll be an integral part of multidisciplinary teams, providing individualized instruction and advocating for students success in a positive, collaborative environment.
What were seeking:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility) for NH
- Experience working with elementary (K-4) students in special education settings
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, families, and staff
- Organized, adaptable, and proactive in meeting student needs
In this role, you will:
- Manage a caseload of K-4 students, delivering differentiated instruction tailored to individual learning goals
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with families and school professionals
- Track student progress, maintaining compliance with all documentation and procedural requirements
- Communicate regularly with families, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
