Job Description

This contract position offers an opportunity to provide specialized instruction for young learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder in grades K-3. Located in Naperville, IL, the role involves a 35-hour workweek during the 2026-2027 school year, fostering growth and development within a supportive educational environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering tailored special education services to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Collaborating with teaching staff and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Monitoring student progress and adapting instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Maintaining accurate records and participating in team meetings to support student success.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Educator's License (PEL) for Illinois schools, issued through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
  • Experience working with special education students, particularly those on the autism spectrum.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment.
