Qualifications and Experience:
- Current certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience working with elementary-aged students
- Background in developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong understanding of diverse learning styles and behavioral strategies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt instruction and classroom materials for various learning differences
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for assigned students
- Deliver direct instruction in both small groups and one-on-one settings
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and related service providers
- Foster an inclusive, supportive atmosphere for all learners
- Track and document student progress, reporting outcomes and adjustments as needed
- Meet regularly with families and other stakeholders to review goals and outcomes
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
