Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credential, or eligibility in California
• Experience teaching a range of grade levels (Pre-K, Elementary, Middle, or High School)
• Strong skills in delivering differentiated instruction in core academic areas, including Math
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Exceptional communication and collaboration with parents, staff, and administration
• Positive, patient, and flexible approach to meeting diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Adapt and deliver effective special education instruction across grades K-12
• Assess student abilities and tailor educational plans based on IEP goals
• Incorporate engaging, age-appropriate strategies for students from early childhood to high school
• Track and document progress, adjusting methods as needed
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service staff
• Communicate consistently with parents and guardians regarding student progress
