Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Special Education Teacher supporting a diverse range of grade levels, from Pre-K and Kindergarten through high school. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching credential, or eligibility in California
- Experience teaching a range of grade levels (Pre-K, Elementary, Middle, or High School)
- Strong skills in delivering differentiated instruction in core academic areas, including Math
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Exceptional communication and collaboration with parents, staff, and administration
- Positive, patient, and flexible approach to meeting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Adapt and deliver effective special education instruction across grades K-12
- Assess student abilities and tailor educational plans based on IEP goals
- Incorporate engaging, age-appropriate strategies for students from early childhood to high school
- Track and document progress, adjusting methods as needed
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service staff
- Communicate consistently with parents and guardians regarding student progress
