Job Description
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in Mount Holly, NJ, supporting a 1st grade classroom through an in-class resource room model. This contract role runs from August 29 to November 6, providing an opportunity to work closely with young learners requiring specialized instruction within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of 1st grade students in the resource room
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to implement effective educational strategies
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the district
- Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions
Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Special Education teaching license preferred
- Experience working with early elementary students in a special education setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and provide supportive interventions

- Mount Holly, New Jersey, within the public school district
Additional Information: Interviews will be conducted via Zoom with panel or casual formats, and offers can be made within 24-48 hours following the interview. Required onboarding includes fingerprinting and contract signing prior to the start date. Support personnel such as paraprofessionals will be provided to assist with classroom supervision.
