Youll have the chance to provide individualized attention to a small caseloadworking with just two studentsensuring each one reaches their fullest potential in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Hold a valid West Virginia Special Education Teacher certification
• Demonstrated experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities
• Deep commitment to differentiated instruction and adaptive teaching strategies

• Flexibility, patience, and dedication to student growth

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for assigned students
• Adapt curriculum materials and instructional techniques to meet unique learning needs
• Foster a safe, positive, and supportive classroom climate
• Work in partnership with families, related service providers, and other educators to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain accurate records of student progress in accordance with school and district protocols
• Provide direct instruction, assessment, and behavioral support as needed
