Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential (state-specific or transferable)
• Experience teaching or student teaching in any of the following: Pre-K, Kindergarten, elementary, middle, or high school settings
• Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction
• Ability to adapt Math and core curriculum content for varied learning abilities
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• Dedication to inclusivity and promoting a positive classroom culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging, standards-based lessons for students in grades Pre-K through 12
• Assess, monitor, and document student progress according to IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student success
• Modify Math curriculum and instructional strategies based on individual learner needs
• Create a safe, nurturing environment that encourages student participation and growth
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all school and district protocols regarding special education
