Job Description
Make a meaningful impact as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher by providing instruction and developmental support to preschool-aged children in a welcoming school environment. This full-time contract opportunity begins August 12, 2026, for the entirety of the 2026-2027 academic year. Key Qualifications:
- Current Colorado Special Education License with Early Childhood endorsement, or eligibility for reciprocity
- Background in working with preschool-aged children is preferred
- Thorough understanding of early childhood development and early intervention strategies
- Excellent skills in communication and collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
What Youll Do:
- Offer specialized instruction tailored to the needs of preschool-aged students receiving special education services
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Monitor students' progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Work closely with families, therapists, and other team members to support every aspect of students' growth
- Participate actively in evaluations, eligibility meetings, and IEP discussions
- Address communication, social-emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs to maximize student potential
Candidates will primarily be working onsite, making a direct difference in students lives. Caseloads will comprise preschool-aged children, with specifics determined by district confirmation.
