Qualifications and Experience:
- Current special education teaching credential meeting all state requirements (non-negotiable)
- Demonstrated experience in a school setting working with students with diverse learning needs
- Expertise in instructional planning, differentiation, and IEP implementation
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Preference for candidates seeking in-person roles only
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and specialized services to middle or high school students in-person
- Provide case management, including IEP development, progress monitoring, and parent communication
- Collaborate with general education staff, support teams, and existing remote case coordinators
- Maintain compliant, thorough records and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in team meetings and contribute positively to a dynamic educational community
As part of this role, youll be working 37.5 hours per week from late August through mid-June, offering a fulfilling, predictable schedule within a close-knit educational setting.
