Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Previous experience teaching in K-12 settings, with an emphasis on differentiated instruction
• In-depth knowledge of best practices for Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and Secondary education
• Strong skills in modifying curriculum and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to teach Math and address varied learning needs across multiple grades
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A passion for supporting the growth and success of students with diverse abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to special education students from Pre-K through 12th grade
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to students academic, social, and behavioral goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and educational specialists to ensure comprehensive support
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings, maintain compliance with special education laws and policies, and provide input for student assessments
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere
