Key Qualifications:

• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
• Comfortable working with students in grades Pre-K through 12, including elementary, middle, and high school groups
• Experience in adapting curriculum for varying abilities and grade levels
• Strong foundation in Math instruction across a variety of grade ranges
• Exceptional communication skills for collaboration with parents, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, engaging, and nurturing classroom atmosphere

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students strengths and challenges
• Provide differentiated instruction in academic areas, with an emphasis on mathematics
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and specialists to ensure cohesive support for learners
• Monitor and assess student progress toward academic and behavioral goals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in support of each students educational journey
• Foster positive relationships that encourage student participation, independence, and self-advocacy
